Somewhere in Time Mini Album No: 1

I'm trying to load these in chronological order, and this is an album I made for my niece Chloe's wedding in September 2014, so I'm getting up to date. This is a picture heavy post because there was such a lot going on

Loads and loads of Sweet Lilac Flowers blooms on the cover
The watch on the charm is a lovely little fob watch I found on ebay
All the fussy cut corners in the album were mounted on black card before cutting so they would be sturdy
There are loads of flaps, pockets and inserts to put stuff in
Some of the pockets hold little notebooks to write in or stick mementos to
Although each of the pages is essentially the same design, there are little differences
 I love adding little envelopes
Who can resist a lacy corset!
One of the inserts, a folder with pockets and tags
Each page has a large fold up flap with 2 smaller fold out flaps with journaling spots
Fold ups, fold outs
Hiding pockets, flaps and inserts
These papers were so vibrant and I just love the combination of turquoise and mustard

Well thanks for looking, and thanks to Bo Bunny for such wonderful papers

A Proper Vintage Gentleman Mini Album

I found a pad of Graphic 45's A Proper Vintage Gentleman in my local craft shop and thought "why not give it a go" so I had a try at a masculine album.

I don't think it turned out too bad considering it was the only pad of this paper I was able to find

Although I had to add a few little bits from other collections to pad it out a little bit

Some of the little bits and pieces look so cute on these pages

These double flaps proved a little tricky at first but I just loved this old advert page

And the tiny posters were really fun

I stuck them just about everywhere!

Well that's going on ebay now, so thanks for popping in and taking a look

A quick note to self:

I have made quite a few cards and mini albums over the last 10 years or so, but didn't take too many photos.
What photos I do have I cannot remember what I did and which order I did them in :-)
So I will be documenting from here on so that I at least have a record for myself of what I've done

Tim Holtz Wallflower Mini Album

This was a little 6x6 mini album I made for my mother in law
I used mainly Tim Holtz's Wallflower collection with a couple of bits and pieces from Graphic 45's Typography

I loved that typewriter!

Magnets, flaps and mini door handles

Still not sure that the kraft background quite does the papers justice

I wonder if anyone else has a thing about vintage postcards?

I think the dark brown card I used for these tags would have been a better choice for the rest of the album

Thanks for looking

My First Mini Album

This was the first mini album I ever made, in January 2014, a present for my daughters 40th birthday in the September. I think she liked it because now I have to make one for each of her friends

I used Graphic 45's French Country collection and a lot of bits and pieces from my stash

It took a little while to work out as I hadn't ever done anything like it before so there were a few things I had to change as I went along

This page has paper clips attached to the page underneath the flowers, so little bits and pieces can be slipped underneath

But most of them are pocket pages, some with flaps and magnets

A bookmark tag and altered business card holder

Some of the pages are jam packed with the cut apart tags from the collection

This pocket page has a little notebook attached

The waterfall was a little tricky to get straight, but I think I managed it. I also added a mini tag pocket made from a couple of money pockets which were decorated

Thank you for looking and apologies for the quality of some of the photos. I haven't quite got the hang of this yet, but I will!!

Wow, my very first blog, this should be interesting. A strong learning curve, so much to think about and do
